Parthenon CDE Sponsored By: Medasense Speaker: Dr. Frank Overdyk, MUSC, Charleston SC In this session Dr. Overdyk will introduce the audience to a new AI monitoring technology providing objective quantification of intraoperative nociception. The talk will include an introduction to the clinical need, the technology, the evidence and the clinical utility. The overview will be followed by an interactive discussion with the audience on the value proposition and use cases for both patients and clinicians. This class of monitors has been authorized by the FDA earlier this year, representing major innovation in the area of perioperative monitoring. Dr. Overdyk is Consultant Medical Director to Medasense. |
